Meet the Doctors
Dr. Robert "Robin" Hering is a Green Bay area native, growing up Denmark and attending Preble High School. Dr. Hering attained a B.A. degree in 1968 from Ripon College. After graduation he spent two years in the United States Army, including a tour in Vietnam. Following military service, Dr. Hering returned to Ripon College to acquire additional credits for entrance to Marquette University School of Dentistry. In May 1975, he attained his D.D.S. degree.
Dr. Hering established his Neenah dental practice in June 1975, where he has continued to provide all aspects of preventive, restorative, prosthetic,TMJ, and Functional Orthodontic dentistry to families all around the Fox River Valley. Through continuing education, he has achieved advanced training in functional jaw orthopedics and orthodontics. He has completed over 3,000 orthodontic cases and more than 800 TMJ cases. Dr. Hering continues these studies while also focusing his educational efforts in the areas of cosmetic dentistry, periodontal surgery and sleep dentistry. Dr. Hering is an active member of the International Association of Orthodontics, the American Orthodontic Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, Wisconsin Dental Association, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Portland based Dental Sleep Medicine Association, and The National Sleep Foundation.
Dr. Hering's main interests are spending time with his wife Lynette, their 6 children and 16 grandchildren. Robin and Lynette are active travelers, hunters and fishermen. They especially enjoy fly fishing, Lake Michigan salmon fishing. bow hunting, turkey hunting, and many other outdoor activities.

Dr. Jodi Slominsky, D.D.S.
Dr. Slominsky was raised on a dairy farm in Hortonville, where she also
attended high school. After High school she attended the University of Missouri
for undergraduate school and then dental school. While in dental school she met her husband who was in the university
of Missouri pharmacy
program. After graduation Dr. Slominsky completed a one year residency program at Fort Leavenworth VA
hospital in Kansas.
In July of 1998 Dr. Slominsky and her family moved to Eau Claire where she practiced for 15 years. They very much enjoyed Eau Claire, but at the same
time were ready to get back closer to family and thus made the move back to the
Dr. Slominsky and her husband have 4 children who keep them very busy. They have just
entered the beginning of the teen years with high school looming ahead. Their children
are involved in a number of sports, a variety of extra-curricular activities
and also enjoy camping. Dr. Slominsky's personal interests are scrapbooking, quilting, and
reading. She also enjoys volunteering with her church and school.
She am excited to be back in the Appleton area, and is looking forward to meeting
everyone and being able to help you with your dental needs.
