Meet the Doctors
Dr. Joseph Olsen, DMD
Dr. Olsen is a Baraboo area native, growing up in Baraboo and Reedsburg, and attending Baraboo High School. He earned his B.S. degree from University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2008. After graduation he spent 2 years working at Yale School of Medicine as a Positron Emission Tomography Clinical Assistant. Following his employment at Yale he began his dental training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. In May 2014 he attained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree. Following graduation Dr. Olsen and his wife bought a house and settled in Neenah, Wisconsin.
Dr. Olsen began his dental practice in July of 2014 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. After 3 rewarding years in Oshkosh, Dr. Olsen is excited to be establishing his practice in his home of Neenah. Dr. Olsen will provide all aspects of preventive, restorative, prosthetic, and functional orthodontic dentistry to families all around the Fox Valley.
Through continuing education he has advanced knowledge in implant based dental restoration. He continues these studies while also focusing on the areas of cosmetic, orthodontic, and general dentistry. Dr. Olsen is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon - National Dental Honor Society, The American Dental Association, The Wisconsin Dental Association, and The Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Olsen’s main interests are spending time with his wife Amanda, their daughter Eleanor, and their dog Finn. They enjoy fishing, traveling, working on their home, and many other activities.

Dr. Robert "Robin" Hering is a Green Bay area native, growing up Denmark and attending Preble High School. Dr. Hering attained a B.A. degree in 1968 from Ripon College. After graduation he spent two years in the United States Army, including a tour in Vietnam. Following military service, Dr. Hering returned to Ripon College to acquire additional credits for entrance to Marquette University School of Dentistry. In May 1975, he attained his D.D.S. degree.
Dr. Hering established his Neenah dental practice in June 1975, where he has continued to provide all aspects of preventive, restorative, prosthetic,TMJ, and Functional Orthodontic dentistry to families all around the Fox River Valley. Through continuing education, he has achieved advanced training in functional jaw orthopedics and orthodontics. He has completed over 3,000 orthodontic cases and more than 800 TMJ cases. Dr. Hering continues these studies while also focusing his educational efforts in the areas of cosmetic dentistry, periodontal surgery and sleep dentistry. Dr. Hering is an active member of the International Association of Orthodontics, the American Orthodontic Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, Wisconsin Dental Association, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Portland based Dental Sleep Medicine Association, and The National Sleep Foundation.
Dr. Hering's main interests are spending time with his wife Lynette, their 6 children and 16 grandchildren. Robin and Lynette are active travelers, hunters and fishermen. They especially enjoy fly fishing, Lake Michigan salmon fishing. bow hunting, turkey hunting, and many other outdoor activities.
