Happy December! Can you believe it’s already the end of the year? Everyone at Fox Valley Dental certainly can’t! We had such a wonderful year with plenty to celebrate, and just wanted to share some of the highlights with our patients!
There were plenty of reasons to celebrate our team members this year. Dr. Olsen celebrated his two year anniversary in June, and we gifted him some sloth socks and a dental-themed clock! Our Assistant Mariah got engaged over the 4th of July during a trip to Tennessee, and we were all incredibly excited to hear the news! In August the whole crew went to a Timber Rattlers game for a team bonding event and had a blast! Hygienist Samantha Schrader had her first son Arland on August 31st. He was a week early but both mother and baby are doing wonderfully! Our other hygienist Kelly Hernandez also welcomed a little boy into the world on November 27th, her second son named Dominic James. In October, we welcomed a new team member for the front office, Heather! She has been doing incredibly well and enjoys learning about the world of dentistry.
We gave back to our community this year in some different mediums. The month of September featured a Back-To-School Cake Drawing, with our patient Ethan winning the supplies for his teacher, Ms. Sweetalla at St. Mary Elementary! On October 20th, some team members volunteered to help with the Special Olympics Regional Bowling Tournaments. One group went to Sabre Lanes in Menasha while a duo went to Weston for the Special Smiles event. Everyone had an amazing time and was so grateful to help in this way! All through November we ran a supply drive for the Neenah Animal Shelter as well as a food drive with Engage Orthodontics. We dropped off the items for the shelter and even got to meet sweet little Wren before she went off to her forever home!
Halloween was incredible this year as the whole office dressed up as the cast from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs! Everyone looked amazing and had a blast. We celebrated Christmas by taking a tour of Lambeau Field with the significant others in tow and ending with dinner! It was so great celebrating the season with everyone outside of work!
We hope everyone had an amazing year, and that 2020 brings even more smiles to all our patients and their families!
