Dr. Olsen completed his undergraduate work at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2008. He earned his dental degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Massachusetts in 2014. He pursues continuing education opportunities as often as possible and has advanced training in clear aligners, sleep medicine and orthodontic treatments. He practiced in Oshkosh for three years before opening his practice in Neenah in 2017. He is a member of the American Dental Association®, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry. He strives to make sure that every patient leaves his office understanding their oral health needs and how to maintain their smiles.
Dr. Olsen has one daughter, Ellie, and two dogs, Finn and Duke. When he is not at the office, you can find him spending time at the lake.

I have a bachelor’s degree in administrative management from Brigham Young University College of Business. I have over 13 years of experience in dentistry. I was raised in Walla Walla, Washington, and have four children and only one husband!
Why did you choose dentistry? I enjoy serving an individual’s needs.
What is the best part of your job? Helping patients understand their insurance and coverage.
What aspect of your personality adds the most value to the office? Attention to detail and humor!
What do you do outside of the office? Kayaking, biking, snorkeling, hiking/walking, travel, serving and watching soccer.
What is one item from your bucket list? Traveling to Japan.
An interesting fact about yourself: I am a certified scuba diver.
My husband and I have a set of twins, two dogs and three cats! It is kind of like a small zoo, but we love it that way! I was born and raised in Oshkosh but moved up to Neenah once our twins were born in 2018. So far, we love Neenah and the great community we have encountered.
Why did you choose dentistry? I chose dentistry because I love helping people feel good about themselves and seeing the beautiful smiles!
What is the best part of your job? The best part of my job is the variety of tasks, from scheduling to insurance verification and benefits!
What aspect of your personality adds the most value to the office? My hard work ethic. My dad used to tell me “Hustle beats talent when talent does not hustle.”
What do you do outside of the office? All things competition dogs! Our two German wirehaired pointers are both AKC champions and have hunting titles. One is even a DockDogs® world Champion!!!
What is one item on your bucket list? An Alaskan cruise!

I grew up in rural Wisconsin on a game farm. We raised pheasants, chickens, turkeys, pigs, bunnies and beef cows. I loved growing up with animals and owe my strong work ethic to my time on the farm and with my parents. My family and I now live in the Fox Valley area. I am married and have two energetic and kindhearted sons.
What is the best part of your job? I have been a practicing dental hygienist (RDH) since 2012. I have practiced dental hygiene in Colorado, Oregon and Wisconsin. I am certified in the administration of local anesthetic. I have a soft tissue dental hygiene laser certification. I was a dental assistant from 2007 to 2012. I absolutely love what I do! I love meeting new people and getting to know them and their families. I am a caring person with a good sense of humor. I work hard at giving my patients the best treatment possible while making them comfortable.
Outside the office: I love to hang out with my husband, Adam, and our two boys. Our family loves to laugh and be silly. We enjoy taking day trips, family walks and hiking. I enjoy reading, doing yoga, watching musicals and trying new restaurants. I also enjoy going to breweries and wineries to sample new beverages!
What is one item on your bucket list? Traveling more! I love exploring and visiting new areas in the U.S. and internationally.
My family and I live in Oshkosh. I am happily married to Kurt and we have a son. We enjoy spending time with our yellow lab and our Abyssinian kitty. I have always loved to be around people, so working with people was a must for me. I enjoyed biology and science studies in school, and dentistry started sticking out for me as the best option for my career in middle school.
Why did you choose dentistry? I have been a practicing dental hygienist (RDH) since 2007. I am certified in the administration of nitrous oxide sedation and local anesthetic. I have a soft tissue dental hygiene laser certification. I am a certified dental assistant (CDA). I also teach dental assisting and am the clinical director at a local career-training program in Appleton at the Weekend Dental Assistant School.
What is the best part of your job? I love getting to know my patients and helping them achieve better oral health. I practice thorough yet gentle dental hygiene that centers on the patient’s overall health.
Outside the office: I love to hang out with Kurt and our family and friends. I live an active and healthy lifestyle. I enjoy working out, biking, hiking, running, cooking, sipping wine and listening to music. I also enjoy going up North, eating ice cream and going to Packers games.
Your hero: My dad. He is a hard worker and always makes a point of teaching me how to strive to be the best.
Bucket list item: To travel more! I would love to see Thailand, Greece, Spain and Ireland.
I am from Menasha, Wisconsin. I am currently attending Fox Valley Technical College for dental hygiene. On the weekends, my family and I travel for drag racing. Throughout the week, we enjoy boating and fishing on Lake Winnebago and hunting during the fall. I am the second oldest of four and would not change it for the world!
Why did you choose dentistry? I chose dentistry because I love to help people. I had issues with my teeth growing up, and the dentists made me feel confident! So I would like to do the same.
What is the best part of your job? I believe the best part of my job is making people feel confident with their smiles.
What aspect of your personality adds the most value to the office? I think that I am very considerate and empathetic towards people. When someone needs help, I am always willing to do what they need, whether it is a patient or a team member.
What do you do outside of the office? Out of the office, my life is very family-oriented. Most weekends are spent drag racing or on the lake. During the fall, I absolutely love deer and duck hunting with my dad and younger brothers.
